Amazon FireTV challenged us to create a lifestyle-focused web experience that sold “vibes” rather than hardware. They wanted a highly shareable piece of content that would generate warm brand affinity without feeling like a traditional ad. The result was “What’s Your Streaming Style”—an interactive personality quiz designed to deliver genuinely personalized profiles to users.
The massive challenge was scale versus specificity. To make the results feel authentic rather than generic, we needed thousands of unique copy variations. Writing these manually would have taken weeks. I engineered a solution using Large Language Models (LLMs) to bridge this gap. First, I wrote “base copy” segments that perfectly nailed Amazon’s specific tone. Then, I developed a prompting framework to generate thousands of unique, on-brand variations from that source material. To manage quality control, I built a custom database in Google Sheets that allowed the client to review and approve this massive volume of content in a single day rather than weeks.
We also faced a critical design hurdle mid-project when our approved full-color visual direction was flagged for strictly adhering to Amazon’s color palette. I pivoted the creative strategy to utilize bold, expressive line drawings that represented streaming genres, allowing us to maintain visual distinctiveness without breaking brand guidelines.
Results
- 10x increase in asset production speed, reducing creative lead time from weeks to days through AI workflow integration.
- Successfully delivered thousands of unique copy variations, creating a “handcrafted” feel at an algorithmic scale.
- Sustained performance, with the platform continuing to run and acquire new users six months post-launch.
