Role:

Creative Technology Director, Technical Lead, Producer

Warner Bros. Discovery tasked us with creating a flagship Web3 experience to promote The Flash under an aggressive three-month deadline. This project marked a historic industry milestone: the first major studio motion picture released as a Web3 film day-and-date with conventional digital platforms.

The vision was to build an immersive 3D world where fans could navigate the “Chronobowl” to access iconic locations like the Batcave and Batwing Cockpit. However, a critical hurdle arose in week one: due to unforeseen logistical complexities, the source 3D assets required to build these environments were unavailable, leaving us staring at a hard deadline with an empty asset library.

I restructured the entire production workflow to shift our team from “implementation” to “creation.” I implemented daily morning scrums to synchronize our Unity development team in Poland with our creative team in Los Angeles. I then led the creative team in reverse-engineering the environments, props, and vehicles by analyzing movie trailers frame-by-frame, creating our own blueprints for the development team to build from scratch.

By integrating Eluvio’s blockchain technology, we delivered a fully interactive, gamified 3D environment featuring complex tiered product logic (Mystery vs. Premium editions) and rarity structures. Despite the initial asset challenges, we launched on time and delivered a product that pushed the boundaries of what a web-based promotional experience could be.
